And Federal District Court Demonrat Whore Goldsmith is specifically on notice fro the Sixth District Federal Court of Appeals above him that they expect his ruling to conform with Michigan state court rulings from the Michigan State Court of Appeals which has ordered an end to there count. Any further foot dragging can be disposed of by the Michigan Supreme Court which has TWO of Trump's listed choices for SCOTUS: Chief Justice Robert Young and Associate Justice Jean Larsen.
Game, set, match! ---------

I’m told that Goldsmith has been instructed by the 6th circuit to vacate his order if the state courts cancel the recount altogether. Stein still has the option of appealing the MI C of A ruling to the MI SC.

Clinton would have needed to win WI, MI and PA in the recounts.
Trump would have needed to retain only one of them to win.
Unless they can find another state, it is likely over. Some are trying to get a recount started in FL.

Are they still counting in MI or have they been stopped? I read threads that say both. Which is true?

Michigan taxpayers are footing the huge cost. Stein’s tiny fee does not begin to cover what is already done.

If they can flip one or two states, they can still win by flipping electors. That’s the plan.

They should call that Goldsmith guy at midnight tonight - fair revenge for his middle of the night ruling earlier

But MAGA-trump tweets that it is in abeyance. Plus, one would think Stein would take an appeal immediately to the federal court. I don't recall seeing that tweet. Was that on @realDonaldTrump or a different Twitter feed?

If it’s stopped in the morning the fee should come close to the actual cost.
They’ve only worked on 8 counties so far.

Can a judge be personally sued for causing a state to spend a bunch of money frivolously? Can Michigan tax payers do a class action law suit against a judge?

Where do you find, in the Constitution, the notion that Federal courts have ANY jurisdiction over the appointment of electors by State Legislatures? Have you been reading this thread carefully?! The 6th Circuit just ruled on the propriety of a Federal judge overturning state law in order to start the recount without a state mandated waiting period. I guess that demonstrates that the Federal courts don't seem to have any problem exerting jurisdiction over the proposed recounts.
I also started my post by pointing out that "since lawyers are involved". I should have stated "since DEMOCRAT lawyers are involved". Even though most of us on this thread believe that state law should be adjudicated by state courts, the liberal left has no such compunctions. Thus, it will wind up in the 6th Circuit again and I doubt that they will refuse the case.
To: jstolzen
how on earth does he have the right to say anything about the recount continuing until HE says it will stop?Exactly. And this is important to remember going forward. This guy is a you-know-what. And he was appointed by Obama and he is a marxist to the hilt.
