You also forget I’m retired, most of my service was under Republican leadership.
It is beyond doubt that most people do support environmental goals. Mostly my job was involving sewer systems and their funding which people clearly want to work.
It’s called “checks and balances” and our government was designed that way.
In fact, most large organizations demonstrate the same features.
Aside from the military and border control, a cut could not be too big.
Cut until vital service problems take place.
