Leave the union - and in particular the ability to print Federal Reserve money and spend massive amounts of Federal debt, backed by nothing - and every progressive, leftist scheme disappears immediately

Thank God we live in a REPUBLIC and not a democracy, nothing to worry about.

“I don’t think we can sustain our American democracy by having the majority ruled by the minority.”

Really? You don’t like being ruled by the minority? Actually, the way I see it, the majority did win the election. This is the “United” states. It’s a unity of sovereign states that are supposed to have state’s rights. Meaning each states populace as a whole gets to have a say as to who gets to be prez. That’s why we have the electoral college, to give each state it’s say as to how the election comes out.

So the majority (of states) did win. Having leftist whacko infested states like California running the whole show based solely on a national popular vote is just not what the working class of America wants.

I don’t think we can sustain our American democracy by having the majority ruled by the minority.

Ironically that is exactly how the DNC works, and they admitted it.

Friendly word of advice to Lofgren and the democrats. Not a good idea. If you are successful there is a high probability that you would starve.

They’ll stop as soon as they realize their states are net recipients of Federal monies.

How about we just sell their states to Iran and let them be converted by the religion they so love and defend, and we could use the money.

The only way out that the traitorous Demonicrats should have in leaving the Union is, following their trial and conviction, at the end of a rope.

Convention of the States IS NOT THE SAME AS A Constitutional Convention
Same results with a different name.

You can't undo the 17th amendment without amending (re-writing) the constitution. Nor can you dictate what the agenda items would be in a Constitutional Convention Convention of States. To think otherwise is pure ignorance.

“...the question is how to fix this since the Constitution is written in such a way that it’s almost impossible to amend,” Lofgren said.

Except for the 27 times it's been amended already.

first thing the states need to do is repeal the 17th amendment to get power back in balance with the Federal Government. Killing the 16th should be next, replacing it with a new amendment based on a sales tax written in a way which limits growth to the change in population and inflation, and include a balanced budget provision.

Return the Senate to the control of the State Legislatures and cut off unlimited money from the Federal Government, and it can quickly be brought to heel.

I'm sure she has no problem, though, with the idea that the president of the entire country should be selected by the coastal counties of California.

So the Democrats want to secede again...like that worked so well for them in the 1860’s.....! Well this particular group of Demmies can take the west coast and shove it as far as I’m concerned. Let them feed their new “neighbors” from south of the border and rebuild themselves when the big quake hits!

No, but they could very well get what they want via Convention of the States. Be careful what you wish for!
