- no longer using mid-1960s engine technology
- computers
- 40+ years of safety, fuel improvements
The AF-1 747’s have been replaced several times already, and have been overhauled frequently in the meantimes. They are NOT mid-60’s design. Aluminum, engines, nor electronics. Nor defensive add-on’s.
