Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents, but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!
I would say costs are out of control.
Go Trump.
The elites in Washington do not know what has hit them!
“You’ll be winning so much you’ll GET SICK of it..!”
DJT
FNFs just read this tweet on air.
I love how they find out. ;-)
I bet there is some frantic “rationalization” of the project being re-figured at this moment!
“...I would say costs are out of control....”
OBAMA SPENDING is out of control. Obamacare, Medical, illegals, Iran, entitlement FRAUD....the list goes on.
Best. Election. Ever.
Problem is, the way these contracts are written, Boeing might get all the $$ anyway.
Wow!
Love it!
Not under Trump. Oh, they “might” get THAT particular plane . . . and lose millions on other work, or they can agree to cancel and stay in DT’s good graces.
Apparently he is not giving carrier owner UTC any special treatment.
Did Obama order plane for Hillary
Is he going to retrofit one of his planes to accommodate all of the required tech and defensive stuff?
That’d be cool.
“I would say costs are out of control. Go Trump.”
Agree. But, it’s my guess that Boeing is too far into production to be feasible to cancel. Penalties would probably equate to about the same as finishing the build. Btw, I think they’re building two planes aren’t they?
I think he just countered against the cost of protection in NYC.
I bet the outcome is that Boeing ends up keeping the contract for Air Force One - but at half the price.
“The first 747-100 from Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) was put into service in 1970, and those first planes sold at a list price of $24 million. Adjusting for inflation, that same 747 would sell today for $146.6 million. So why does Boeing list the passenger version of a new 747-8 for $356.9 million and the freight-hauling version at $357.5 million?”

Nevertrumpers: see? He’s interfering with companies again!
