Here I sit in my abode in northwest Washington state a mere four miles from Canada munching on a fruitcake from my Southern California cousins that is so loaded with rum that it constitutes a fire hazard. At this moment, I wait with bated breath -- you know that the rum is kicking in -- for our next president to speak and shower us with his words of wisdom.

DJT running an hour late, beneficially allowing for more people to file into the venue, giving Mr Trump more time to meet and greet behind the scenes, whether onsite or offsite, or for that matter, on the way to NC.
Any guesses on whether a cabinet seat is filled, and who it might be... and whether DJT will make such an announcement tonight?

I wonder if Trump’s people found any way around the 1.5 hour closing of the roads around the venue. I hope all people who want to come can get in. Maybe people have learned that they have to leave even earlier than for the campaign rallies.

Monica seems a little more serious. Laura, as much as I like her, is more of an eye-roller, sarcastic response person. Laura would be more fun at a social gathering, whereas Monica is more of a debate/discussion person. If I had to compare the two, Monica is more Lady Thatcher, Laura is more Sarah Palin.
