There is video of Al Gore at Trump Tower speaking to the press right here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuR_6dmtGa0

I am very curious as to why he met with Al Gore, and I wish he hadn't. First of all, I would presume that the policies that Al Gore advocates are counter to those that Trump advocates - especially when it comes to regulations on business. Second of all, Al Gore was vehemently against Trump saying that he would "cause a climate catastrophe."

Al Gore said over 10 years ago that we only had 10 years left to save the planet. Rush Limbaugh did a 10 year countdown clock on his website. The 10 years have passed. We are still here. Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio (mentioned later in the article as giving a documentary he did to Ivanka Trump) preach about carbon footprint for the little people while all the while living in large homes and jet setting the world.

I wonder what DiCaprio says to people who don't believe the unborn child is a person:

“The scientific consensus is in, and the argument is now over. If you do not believe in climate change, you do not believe in facts, or in science, or empirical truths, and therefore, in my humble opinion, should not be allowed to hold public office.”

Even if this is just to talk, it’s unnerving. We didn’t elect Jim Inhofe with a proven record on energy such that I’d feel better about such a meeting. Trump’s considering all the right people for EPA and DOE and given all the right signals about environmental regulations, but there’s nothing productive to talk about with the holy high priest of global warming.

Maybe he’s just trying to ease the worries of liberals while they’re trying to foment mutiny before the electoral college vote before he nominates Ebell for EPA. I hope that’s the case, but this is worrying.

Noting that I gladly voted for Trump, please consider the following.

Patriots need to get constitutionally low-information Trump up to speed with the constitutional reality that the states have never delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for climate issues.

In fact, using broad language, a previous generations of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified this as follows.

There's really no harm in Trump letting Al Gore making his pitch, other than to legitimize Al Gore.

I presume that Trump will also let the other side make their pitch. I would simply point out that there has been no measurable warming in the past two decades, and all the models that predicted it (which is like 19 out of 20) were wrong.

From there, a pragmatist would ask: "What was wrong with your models, and why should I believe them now?"

....on climate change, which he has long called a “hoax,”

And, still is.

Look at it this way. Rather than banning coal, Trump is for clean coal using technology and putting coal miners back to work. I don’t think that’s going to change.

Trump is going to dismantle the climate change scam that is nothing more than a scheme by crooks to increase the size of government and increase taxes.

Don’t be surprised if Trump talks to any & every influential person. He’s gauging what influence he can make use of.

Part of enjoying DJT's global assault on the elitist power establishment is appreciating his sense of humor. Jill Stein was outside Trump Tower this AM. Meanwhile, Gore was invited for discussions about the environment.

The other fun fact today is Dr. Carson heading HUD. Do the anti-trumps sound insane saying that a man who rose from an impoverished inner city environment to the pinnacle of greatness isn't qualified to improve impoverished urban environments?

The whole world is on edge about something as formerly mundane as a President Elect choosing his cabinet. As he does it, he is driving his opponents to the depths of insanity.

With all that in mind, Al Gore visiting Trump Tower is just wonderful.

If AlGore’s ears were not bleeding when he left the building, then it wasn’t very fruitful.

Keep in mind that this is Washington Post, a notorious fake news website. We cannot assume what they claim happened is true.

“I had a lengthy and very productive session with the president-elect. It was a sincere search for areas of common ground,”

The “common ground” is the ice in the artic that was supposed to be all gone according to his science fiction sleeper: “An Inconvenient Truth.”

DJT please tell Ivanka to find another cause.

-—(Ivanka)...has already pushed her father to adopt positions usually promoted by Democrats.-—

Ummm - we’ve all had a belly full of “positions usually promoted by Democrats”, Ivanka.

In all due respect to you, please put these liberal ‘issues’ on the shelf and let your father do what needs to be done, namely, draining the swamp, stopping and reversing the illegal invasion, revving up the economy, restoring the military to its former greatness, and ridding us of the idiotic, destructive, and nonsensical political correctness that has plagued us for decades.

In short, returning us to our rightful place in the world as the land of the free; the home of the brave.

Your father was overwhelmingly supported for President for one reason: to rid us of the poison the Democrats rammed down our throats over the last 15 years.
