Looked into this over the weekend.

Pro: You can “lock in the $60 (Go Big) package for $35/month indefinitely and if you pre-pay for 3 months ($105 + tax) you are gifted the 32 GB Apple TV unit.
You can stream on 2 devices with 1 account
If you have AT&T as your cell phone provider, streamed tv over this service does NOT count towards your data cap.
There is NO contract
You can add HBO, Cinemax or other premium channels for $5/month
You have a 72 hour rewind capability

Con: This is LIVE TV in your zip code
Pausing does NOT work at this time. You are alive or you are not watching TV
You cannot record shows at this time (future software update)
If you have standalone channel apps, at present the only way to see these channels is through the DirectTV Now app

IMHO. Great deal. We are dropping our $98/month Dishnetwork bill and getting pretty much everything (except the DVR capabilities) for $35/month. I am confident that the DVR capabilities will come in future updates. As is, this is by far the best live streaming system out there. Add Hulu and you have no real need for DVR capabilities. Except for Big Bang Theory. And is that worth $60/month extra?

I would suggest adding Hulu to this package for a near perfect online solution.

I have PlayStation Vue.

$40 (no tax) for 50 channels.. streams over Roku Stick, Amazon Fire Stick, or directly to TVs with Android TV

You can also stream multiple versions simultaneously

Excellent deal, IMO, as you’re watching on TV, not your IPhone or laptop

Still need a wifi connection of course
