BEST TV:
***NO*** TV.
Well, cutting Cable TV was sufficient for this household years ago. Digital antenna into the TV and into a Windows 7 computer MCE TV tuner for recording/playback of programs, plus streaming through various devices, provides more than sufficient television and more -- for free.
What we miss, we don't really miss.

Had Vue. It was nice. But 2x the channels, about the same price after tax and I got a free 32 GB Apple TV with 3 month pre-paid and no contract. Can go back to Vue anytime, but 100 channels vs ~50 for the same money?

We are trying it out (DirectvNOW). It’s a huge savings. Some glitches but to be expected the first few days. Working well today!

Wait, I thought ATT’s new offer is only for mobile devices at that price point. Is that not the case? Can you stream live TV via a Roku, the way you can work VUE?

Absolutely. It is designed to compete directly against Vue. But at half the price. DVR functionality is planned for 2017.

I wanted to let you know that if you have Roku devices like I do Directvnow expects their service to work with Roku in a few weeks. There is no DirectvNow app for Roku yet. But it is expected shortly. We have been streaming off phones and tablets until our fire stick came today.
But just get yourself a free fire stick or apple tv when you subscribe and you are good to go. I just received my fire stick a few hours ago. Got everything setup and am watching beautiful HD tv. First time I have had HD at home. Really beats the old analog stuff I have been watching for years. I can now see everyone’s moles and hairs on their faces.
Can’t beat this for 35 a month guaranteed. And a free device.
