Therefore, Trump's discussion with Tsai has been seen by some as a breach of protocol, but Bolton disagreed:
"Nobody in Beijing gets to dictate who we talk to. It's ridiculous to think that the phone call upsets decades of anything."
He noted Taiwan, with a population of 20 million, has a democratic government, a free press and a free-market economic system.

“Furthermore, Trump did not initiate the call.
Trump was the recipient of the call”
FYI, it was planned that way. This was not an unscripted error. It was planned. Trump’s people are evil geniuses or is it Genii?
LOL
Thank you. What are we a battered wife with a controlling husband who tells us to whom we can and cannot speak? Not.
Exactly correct.
The Chinese have gotten used to obama’s cringing and crawling.
“Bull” Bolton!
I’ve read Trump’s tweet which he wrote on the 2nd of Dec., and he says “The President of Taiwan CALLED ME today....... Couldn’t be plainer than that.
___
True, but his team could have told her it was OK for her to make the call
It is embarrassing to know that Chinese guy saw Obama for exactly who he was at that moment.
So did everyone else he bowed to.

Far too many have seen the top of obama’s head. They won’t get the same view of Trump!
Anyway, Bolton certainly comes across as having the interpersonal one on one skills to ‘present our case’ as it were. He always looks serious but has a sense of humor.
He strikes me as a 'Trump kind of guy', the kind he would respect.
Hammer
This sum sit up well:
Establishmentarians fear Bolton wont go along with their agenda. When he was ambassador to the United Nations, Bolton broke the status quo and demanded to see change on the institutions much-maligned record and progress on human rights. He rebuked the authority of the U.N.s so-called Human Rights Council, which is, in reality, an institution for the worlds dictators to shield themselves from repercussion. - See more at: why-secretary-of-state-contender-john-bolton-strikes-fear-in-the-hearts-of-establishmentarians
I kept saying that in the wee hours of November 9. . My wife was getting sick of that and . . "We sure dodged a bullet." . . kept saying over and over. I still get choked up when I think of that long night. The future of the whole world on the line. . Whew. . Thank you God!
To shake you in your boots. . Can you just imagine the Cabinet Hillary would be choosing? OMG, just gives me the willies. . We dodged a bullet, Yessiree.
“How about Secretary of State . . . that has a nice ring to it.”
Nah...too many Clinton/Kerryish. They sullied that title for years to come..
I think you’re right on target there.
Yeah; we were saying the “dodged a bullet” thing, too.
As I was getting into the car headed for church tonight I started to laugh and almost couldn’t stop. Told DH that here Hillary stuck with Bill through years of womanizing and other crap just because of that deal that he’d repay her by getting her the Presidency. AND SHE DIDN’T GET IT! HaHaHaHa. She did all that and got a big fat NOTHIN’! I love that so much.
If Trump chose Bolton, it would be like having two Trump’s.
Bolton definitely need to have a seat in the Trump administration.
Sorry, don't understand your question---are you asking why didn't I include all of Trump's tweet? If so didn't seem necessary since it was rather obvious.
When responding to a poster, you can add “all” and all who posted comments on that thread will be copied.
Thanks Cobra64, I did not know that, or perhaps just didn’t notice it. I went back and looked at all on this thread and saw one person who did that, so I’ll use this suggestion in the future.
