Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein switched tactics in her campaign to force a recount in Pennsylvania, one of three battleground states won by Donald Trump where she has challenged the results.
The party dropped a bid to pursue the recount in a state court, citing difficulties raising a million dollar bond demanded by the tribunal. It said it would instead press on in federal court and file suit Monday.
That was also Stein's deadline for raising the bond money.
"Make no mistake -— the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a statewide recount in Pennsylvania," attorney Jonathan Abady said in a statement.
"Over the past several days, it has become clear that the barriers to verifying the vote in Pennsylvania are so pervasive and that the state court system is so ill-equipped to address this problem that we must seek federal court intervention," Abady said.
"Petitioners are regular citizens of ordinary means. They cannot afford to post the $1,000,000 bond required by the court," read a filing submitted earlier in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, announcing the state court drive was being dropped.
Stein plans to hold a rally on Monday across the street from Trump Tower in New York "vowing to fight tooth and nail to verify the accuracy, security and fairness of the vote," a statement read.

Make no mistake STein is a Clinton surrogate and nothing more.
Stein is another in an ever increasing population of ohhh, look at MEEEE! and the I’m too special for others’ rules. Voter fraud is one thing but what she (along with Hellary and Soros) is doing is something else.
If she in concerned about voter fraud she should count where Hillary won.

It seems to me that since the US Constitution makes no mention of actual citizen voting, then it opted to cede that function to the STATES, as should have been. In this regard, PA has set its rules and procedures and as long as they are fairly applied, she has no standing IMO.
I can tell you this as fact -- My many friends on the Left who are just beginning to rise out of their mourning from the election are furious at Stein for dragging this thing out and causing their relapse because they know there's no chance in hell that Trump is not the next President (though, they of course say, he's not their president).
Stein doesn’t give a damn about voter fraud. She knows lowlife liars in the press will give her a free ride and the Soros types will fill her with cash.

Which means they may have found or bought off a judge that will grant it.
She'll need help carrying her suitcases full of money.
This will fail. And then it will be an appeal directly to The Supremes. Another failure and it will be the United Nations that Stein looks to for help.
After that I guess it will be the Greater Galactic Council.
