I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn't have to rely upon, uh, rely upon -- this is the modern era, modern technology. He's at the point where we don't need you guys anymore.

I believe you can observe twitter without having an account. Like here at FR.
Try this:

And a list of what the transition team is up to

If you decide to look, let me know how it works out for you.
Of course if you decide to signup, that can be done quite easily.
zzZING!
“CNN & MSNBC will not exist ten years from now!!!”
We can all help speed up that process by cutting the cable cord.
“Its kind of hard break bread with a group who dishonestly tried to destroy you and still paints you in a bad light.”
Private sector office politics, anyone? It’s bad for business. Drain the swamps wherever the politics of personal destruction are employed.
And Trump got it a long time ago.
Rick Santelli’s speech at the Chicago stock exchange.

“Inside Gab: The New Twitter Alternative Championed By The Alt-Right
A dispatch from the new censorship-defying social network in the wake of “the purge” of alt-right users on Facebook and Twitter this week.”
Perhaps you could enlighten the rest of us about your experience with a thread. Is Trump or any of his staff on gab?
Ah. The late and so very great Dr. Raoul. I still miss the man, he was one of the best.
“Liberals giving advice to conservatives is like the Philadelphia Phillies lecturing the Chicago Cubs on how to play baseball.”
You are too kind to liberals. I would have equated it as the Philadelphia Eagles lecturing the Chicago Cubs on how to play baseball. At least the Phillies are on the same planet.
Simply put, Trump using the all powerful Internet did an end run around the lying main stream media.
Outside of maybe a few live events, the network msm is simply no longer needed.
We need, and will likely always have, the media staffed by fallible human beings. What we don’t need and is rapidly declining is the Ministry Of Truth that our own self-aggrandizing media have become. It can be cured with a dose of humility and a few radical salary cuts. And some young, hungry rivals, which is really what this is all about, isn’t it?
Trump should start his own uncensored Twitter competitor. Force the media to go on it.
Tea Party lacked a leader. It was co-opted with people like Marco Rubio running as true tea party conservatives. Mr. Trump provided leadership for the grass roots movement. He had to have considered it in 2012 and realized he wouldn’t be able to get there against osamabama, but early on he knew it would be Hillary and he knew she would be easy to beat. My gosh, he said it so many times.
“Not Ron Paul,,,
I cant remember who,,”
Sarah Palin and Glen Beck did a lot for the Tea Party in 2010.
“Oh come on! Cheney is as Establishment as they come! Trump is too smart to take this bait.”
Yes.
But Trump is very establishment as well.
“Why doesn’t anyone , I mean anyone, say TEA PARTY anymore?”
Probably a few reasons. I believe that when it was proven that the IRS specifically targeted known Tea Party participants, that specific verbiage dimmed a bit. And the true Tea Party was grass roots and individual — not an organized movement (although some tried to take it over).
We served the big, immediate purpose starting in ‘09. The mindset is still here, but maybe we don’t use the title so much any more.
When you consider the number of people actively turning off the media, I would say it could be considered essential. I would like to have him taunt them by saying most of the people who elected me never watch you.
Oh gezzz, here come the dipsey Ted Cruz style comments. Btw, who told ya Trump was this big establishment candidate?
The Bushes are not going to be happy with Richard Bruce Cheney if he keeps this up.
