The most logical argument against gun control is the war on drugs.
Anyone with a scintilla of knowledge knows that drug prohibitions don’t work. The nation is still flooded with Cocaine, Marijuana, Heroin, Meth, and all manner of other illegal drugs.
The best argument you can make with a logical person is to get them to admit that drug prohibitions haven’t done a thing to prevent people from getting illegal drugs. Then as them, what makes you think the same prohibition on guns will prevent people from getting illegal guns. If you understand that drug prohibitions just raise cost and crime but don’t prevent access, then any logical person will also understand that gun prohibitions only raise cost and crime and don’t stop access.
The problem?
Commie Dems are incapable of logic and rational thought when it comes to politics. They are all raw emotion and heart, and no brain. You can’t make logical arguments like the above with commie Dems. Their brains are not wired to process the information.
So there is no reasoning with them. They will never change on gun control but about the best way you can get through to them is just scream and break out in tears and claim your college sister was almost raped by a man but she had a gun and shot him before he could raper her. Be loud. Scream. Cry. Throw something. Go 100% emotional rage. That is all they understand. Or say it was your mother back in the day. Whatever. Just be completely emotional. It is the only way to get through to them.
Logic never works on commie Dems. They are completely incapable of processing it.
They don't work because they are going after the seller and not the buyer. Sort of like attacking the gun manufacturer and not the person that uses the gun in a crime.
