They control the military, so they have nuclear weapons, drones, fighter jets, MOABs, heavy bombers etc. So they have better than guns.
Yeah, but they may not have the loyalty of the people controlling those drones, fighter jets, MOABs. When confronted with killing their own relatives and neighbors, our soldiers won't forget their limp-wristed POTUS sending them into battle with one hand tied behind their backs.
