Some precincts met the criteria for voter initiated recounts and are recounting (mainly in the Philly area). Is she going after the equal protection aspect? Some precincts recounting and others not?

But even in that case, how does she have any standing? The recount doesn’t affect her in any way as there’s no way she could win.

She doesn't have standing, and indeed, a very small smattering of counties being contested is a reflection of that fact.

In PA, a "recount" can only be triggered by a <0.5% margin, ordered by the Secretary of State. These are not "recounts." These are "contested results" which, under the PA Constitution are only granted under two types of petition.

In the statewide contested election, any candidate has standing, and must establish a prima facie case in the presentation of the petition to either of two of PA's government oversight courts: The Commonwealth Court, or the PA Supreme Court. That contest is the one she withdrew from yesterday.

In the second type of contest, a candidate has no standing. Only voters have standing. An election may be contested at the district level (what folks in other jurisdictions call a precinct) by the presentation of a petition signed by three eligible voters from within the district to the district election board. Stein/Clinton/Soros initiated that process in selected districts some days ago.

One enduring mystery to me is: why did a petitioner who intended to argue a statewide case send out several dozen flunkies to petition local election boards at all? There are 9163 districts in PA. They surely could not have believed they could find 27,489 eligible petitioners ...

My guess is they actually never intended to file the statewide petition. It was just part of the grift. (As is this baloney about filing in Federal court.)
