Dismantle the damned VA. Turn it into an administration that handles processing and payments to private doctors, specialists, and hospitals.
We need a compromise. I think vets like being with vets....so we need both the VA hospitals in addition to access to regular, nearby hospitals and doctors.
Exactly. Sell off the hospitals to private organizations and simply give vets vouchers for private insurance. There could still be some centers for vet-sprcific issues run by private research hospitals.
I am confident that Trrump will get this sorted out quickly. He needs a head of VA that doesn’t mind significantly downsizing its portfolio.
