As a ‘Fawlty Towers’ fan, he was truly one of the most well-written characters in a sit-com, EVER.

And the character could never appear in a modern sit com, it is way too politically incorrect.

I also used to watch To the Manor Born.
British sitcoms were the best.
From a huge Absolutely Fabulous fan. Lol
