"Trump almost surely unaware of Taiwan-China sensitivities before taking President's call," Bremmer added. "They don't yet have Asia expertise on team."---------------These liberal geniuses just can't figure out Trump

So America isn’t going to just roll over and play butt-boy from now on. Yeah, I won’t lose any sleep over this.

This is how China went from a third world rice paddy field to an economic powerhouse. The US bending over for cheap labor. China was nothing until we started buying their junk.

Good ! The way previous administrations threw Taiwan under the proverbial bus (and kept them there) is shameful.
The surprise will be if the Taiwanese still want anything to do with us after our years of duplicitity.

They think it wasn’t deliberate. Small children aren’t that naive.

30 years ago would have been who, Reagan?
Yep, 1986. We haven’t had a President since Reagan who was worth a d$@RMN.

Good. Our relations with China have been a one-way street ever since the days of Nixon and Carter. We give them everything and they give us nothing. And then they demand that we give them more.
Time to even things out. We can no longer afford to pay for the entire world. In fact, after the last few Prezzies, we can’t even afford to pay for ourselves.

In the past we have always supported governments that are Democratic in nature.
Taiwan is one of these, and it's time to start letting Red China know we can get our dog toys made elsewhere.

Uh, yeah, I’m pretty sure that was the point ...

More liberal dummies. Trump knew exactly what he was doing. He’s delivering a message to the Chicoms that the US is done putting up with their crap.

This is fantastic.
Can’t give Trump enough kudos.
If Trump can oversee the end of the ChiCom regime, he would be at Reagan level.

Not as incensed as they will be when Trump starts making trade with China work for us.

I was in Taipei in December 1979 when in the dead of night
Carter switched embassies from Taipei to Beijing.
We American students there studying Chinese, as well as
American travellers, holed up where we could while the
drama played out in the streets, anger against the US for abandonment.
