Mods,
While this is a religious article I think it is important for all FReepers to see.
Please move it to the RF if you disagree.

No, they’re culturally orthodox, in a time of deepening apostasy.

My mom loves their show, and watches it whenever she can. I have seen it too, and they come across as wonderful people. I hope HGTV does not let the hateful leftists removed the show.

Has their Pastor ever prayed for God to damn America?

Christians can laugh at the tribulations caused by those who hate God and his people. Those of us who enjoy the wholesome and engaging show that Chip and Joana Gaines give us will be blessed on earth and will be with God in heaven some day. The evil ones who attack God’s people and do not repent will burn in hell for eternity. We have God’s Word on that, so we live the joyful life now and forever.

Supporters of same-sex marriage once leaned on libertarian terminology to make their case. Just live and let live, we were told. And once they got it, they went out of their way to destroy the income and reputation of people who don't endorse it. Since these people have no respect for our values, we have absolutely no reason to respect theirs.

Cosmopolitan and Buzzfeed recently discovered that the church Chip and Joanna Gaines attend, Antioch Community Church, is led by a pastor who does not support same-sex marriage and who believes that homosexual practice is a sin. In other words, Chip and Joanna Gaines attend a historically Christian congregation on the matter of sexual ethics. I must be dense. I fail to see the point? Why is Buzzfeed and Cosmo picking on these people?
Anyone who has ever watched HGTV...esp House Hunting...knows that they're in your face with the gay agenda.

If they’re fired for their religion or forced to renounce their religion, HGTV better have very good lawyers.

Buzzfeed ? lol who cares what they think , there isn’t exactly much thinking going on in that site considering it is nothing more than an internet rag for idiots .
Seriously the lefties have no plans of butting out of our lives and our beliefs . We need to smack em with the word every chance we get . Use the sword , let God fight the battle.

I find it much more disturbing that the Gaines are closely associated with Mark Cuban.

Amen. It’ll truly suck to be the haters of God in the hereafter. And God will take away all our concerns such that we won’t care in any way that they’re being mercilessly tortured for all eternity.

My 13 year old daughter binge watched 3 seasons of that show on Netflix over the Thanksgiving holiday off from school.

My husband and I like their show. Unlike many of the other shows, they’re not constantly sniping at each other. Their children are happy and well-behaved, and they’re very talented.
