Just an FYI, I’ll all for state rights and hate the over reaching feds, but there are only a few things the feds should be doing, and protecting the border is one of them. They can get out of every other state business but they need to protect the border or else you do not have a country.
Yup. While it is highly amusing that California is suddenly seeing the light of states’ rights and embracing secession - something they mocked Texas mercilessly for considering - the fact of the matter is that they supported Obama when he got his Supreme Court decision against Arizona that the Feds and only the Feds could enforce immigration law. The flip side they didn’t consider is that this means the states have no say in how the Feds enforce that law. Payback’s a stone cold bitch.

Agreed, but when it comes to the First AND THE SECOND Amendments, the Federal Government should be supreme. Federal Law should protect both amendments, and to that end National Right To Carry Legislation should be passed and signed into law preempting EVERY STATE GUN LAW! I am damned tired of states like California running rough shod over the 2A!
