A Mexican lawmaker says Carriers deal with President-elect Donald Trump keeping about 1,000 manufacturing jobs in the U.S. will only hurt the air conditioning giant.
The implications are very serious, not only for Nuevo Leon, but for Carrier, Sen. Marcella Guerra said Wednesday of Carriers decision and its impact on her state, according to The Associated Press.

Trumps team and Carrier announced late Tuesday they had reached an agreement to halt nearly 1,000 jobs in Indiana from leaving for Mexico. Carrier previously announced in March it would shutter a plant in Indianapolis, effectively eliminating 1,400 U.S. jobs. . .

Yeah, Carrier will suffer...All the Mexicans living impoverished won’t buy their air conditioners....
“How many AC units do you think the Wall will require for the manned sentry points? If they are 20 miles apart, that will require at least 50 depot centers. Not just offices, but garages, monitoring stations, etc.”
A very good point! Buy American! All those detainees will need comfortable places to sit as they cool their heels after being caught trying to sneak into the U.S.
I hope that when the General Service Administration does its negotiated procurements, there are points added for products made in the U.S. For decades extra points have been given for companies that are owned by women or by people of color, or the handicapped, etc. Certainly giving points to U.S. firms would be a great idea!
ROFL!!!
You just made me want to go in the garage and sleep with the car on. But i don’t think these new cars will kill ya!!
JK BTW
I’m DOING my research this time. Would LOVE to buy American made but not American name made in Mexico.
call it El Fordo :)
Well, at least there will be Americans with jobs who can then buy well-made American products instead of mexican’t crap.
