Here in MA, it’s just about December, and I’ve still got a few straggling roses blooming. A frosty blast is overdue.

During the daytime, I have Honeybees flitting around and at night, salamanders are on the march.

Tonight, it took me 15 minutes to go over a 3 minute mountain, because I was carefully avoiding the hordes of things crawling across the road.

The birds who *always* bug out southward in late September, are still here.

The deer, the horses, the cattle, my dogs and goats are all sporting very light winter coats.

Last week, my back porch Orb Spider had thrown up a lovely web.

I still have trees with green leaves on them and the grass is also green.

I tend to believe the “forecasts” made by the very things that will *die* if they’re wrong, rather than weathermen.

I've got to find an indoor spot with a little sunlight for a front porch pot of miniature roses that started blooming like mad when the weather began to cool down.
