Not going to post from the link since there are so many details, videos, links to stories etc. and it is a must excerpt source.
BTW this is not completely current. Carrier announced today it is over 1000 jobs.
Be aware that United Technologies has landed in excess of 16 billion in contracts with defense sin 9/11.
Like Trump said... easy.

Exactly
Trump did this in his sleep
Obama was too incompetent to even try
They were interviewing a union honcho on the radio today. WIBC, I think.
His claim is that it is really only 800 jobs. (Unions don’t consider management jobs as real jobs)
Obama was too incompetent to even try
Obama was too busy watching ESPN and filling out his football playoff bracket. LOL.
Obama is the patron saint for most union members.
Well still a good number of jobs. Let’s remember too the multiplier effects. Each of these carrier jobs supports other jobs in service businesses and in businesses which are suppliers of Carrier.
So these 1000 Carrier jobs saved may actually impact another 500+ jobs in other companies.
Can any of you imagine Obama getting involved in an issue such as this??? Trump is already making some impacts and he’s not even president yet.
Some CNN news lady with an insufferably condescending voice was whining this morning about how: (1)Trump probably gave Carrier tax breaks to stay in Indiana, so it was the taxpayers who were really footing the bill for a stunt to make him look good. Never mind she had no idea what, if anything was offered or threatened. (2) Pence was governor of Indiana, so why didn’t he do this before now (whatever it was), and (3) Trump didn’t consult the union. He completely shut the union out; he never bothered to ask their advice on how to properly protect the workers — the horror!
Obama had no idea.
Just talking about this tonight. There’s a small factory in Huntington, IN whose biggest customer is Carrier.
They were wondering if they could survive at all, even with big layoffs, without that contract.
See the second link above. Details. Over 1000.
What a coincidence.
that's 2 of the points that union dude made too.
"That they only finally got to talk to Pence about it months ago after parking their paid hides outside his office, and that they were still in the dark as to how this affects the union jobs.
You mean we’re supposed to actually click on links before commenting?
Damn, you’re demanding.
(tried, but was taking forever to load)
Probably secondary crap on their site loading in the background. Let me do you a favor: Add Ghostery and uBlock origin to your browser. No adds, no crap, instant loading, no hassles. Oh wait... just looked they load one add and google analytics. What are you on, a 14.4 k modem? ;-)
Sorry second link has many secondary loads. Not as many as Breitbart but plenty. My recommendation stands.
holding back tears of joy for those families who can sleep soundly tonight
dang - winning sure feels good
LOL! They never have. When times get hard in Detroit the “news” is always about the UAW guys. Never the Thousands of Contract workers who also lose thier jobs. This joke has gone on for over 50 years.
Good point. Every single Cabel propaganda network bashed Trump for keeping 1000 jobs. 1000 jobs for Americans!
25 year’s of Free Trade and someone that finally gets it.
Go Trump
A few more cases like this and every executive thinking about offshoring is also going to have to consider that the baleful eye of the blow dried Sauron with his thousands of regulatory Orcs is going to fall on them, too.
It's called the bully pulpit and the big stick, as TR knew. After a while, with trade protections, US businesses will once again come to think it's normal to pay a decent wage and have a market in the US immune to foreign (but not domestic) competition.
If Trump can solidify the nascent alliance of conservatives and the working class, the Dems will be left only with a whining contingent of over-privileged minorities and the degenerates of the cultural elite.
