But, and this is a big but, when the author mention MK and Kim Noble it goes off the rails in to non-credible realm.

When I do the kind of research,looking into topics,etc. I expect a certain amount of BS to be associated with almost anywhere I go.
There are few sites that are perfect research sites.
Besides if you are truly interested in a topic you will go to as many venues as possible until it all starts to make sense.
