So, as Zuckerberg sees it Trump's speech can never violate community standards because anything he says — no matter how repugnant — is now "mainstream political discourse." Leave it to Zuckerberg and Trump to make Twitter, a platform besieged with harassment, look like the thoughtful adult in the room. It's going to be a long four years.------------The left is having hard time...

Zuckerberg understands that Trump would just go to gab.ai, and that all his current twitter followers would go get a gab account.

Go for it, Twitter. You don’t have a monopoly on this work model anymore. Donald will (inadvertantly) become the Face of Gab. It will be huge!
They will explode in popularity and make Twitter into the new MySpace; one of those gigantic shopping malls where almost no one shops anymore.

Wait, isn’t Twitter a public accommodation like a cake bakery? Couldn’t they be sued for discrimination like the gays did to that christian baker?

Such a decision would send http://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TWTR on a slide down to zero. And if they cut him off on Twitter then we could always invite the President-Elect to post his thoughts here whenever he wants :)

Opportunity knocks for some one to launch a Trump friendly alternative to twitter.

Omg. They have truly shown their hand. While I wish he’d stop using twitter sometimes , banning?

What he says is rated G compared to what goes on in Twitter land.
The Alt-Left is angry that they can not manipulate us through the MSM. Knowing conservatives are going or have gone elsewhere for their news, they are in a full out assault to destroy that too.

I hope they do.

I have been programming a version myself.

Having Trump would make it an instant success.

FreeRepublic should add this ‘tweet’ feature and offer Trump a free account.

twitter, google, amazon, facebook, microsoft, ebay...all need serious anti-trust and RICO investigations, also SEC and shareholder lawsuits if they’re gonna waste/mis-appropriarte shareholder assets trying to intefer with our American political process or impose some sort of dictatorship in our country
(overseas activities are also involved)

Have never had a Twitter or Facebook account, so I wouldn’t have to cancel them if they did ban Trump’s Twitter account. That said, I don’t think they realize how many people would cancel their accounts if they did pull this crap.

Our country has been granted a reprieve, NOW the hard work starts....First, we have to take back the culture and a HUGE part of that is to establish fair and impartial Social Media sites to replace Twitter and Facebook.
