Mediaite pulled out the funniest part of Barack Obama’s latest softball interview with Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner. When asked about Donald Trump’s victory, he blamed part of it on “Fox News in every bar and restaurant in big chunks of the country.”
Let’s not wait for PolitiFact to judge whether Fox News is actually on the TV set in every bar and restaurant in the red states. (They won’t.) Conservatives on Twitter quickly made several apt points:

Democrat losses are SOLELY the responsibility of the Current Occupant himself, and the fact that all the oxygen in the Democrat caucus room got breathed up to support an agenda that ultimately was anathema to any American who possesses the good sense God gave a goose.
“Green energy” and “universal health care” are but pipe dreams that cannot be achieved merely by taxing the wealthy. For one thing, there shall NEVER be sufficient revenue from “soaking the rich” to make much of a difference in either scheme. If any proposition can be made to pay reasonable rates of return, then the capitalistic principles will assure its adoption and widespread support.
Find a way to provide “green energy” that earns back enough return on investment, and it will power way past any other source of energy. The same for investment in health care, in that dollars spent in the system results in a very high ratio of dollars actually going to provide heath benefits, and not chewed up in overhead, administrative costs, or onerous legal fees spent fighting frivolous lawsuits.

Fox News was citing fake skewed polls and even Las Vegas betting odds to quietly slam Trump the entire election. The only one who didn’t take part in it was Hannity and to some extent O’Reilly. All the rest of them were either outwardly anti-Trump or semi-quietly like Brit Hume.
No damn excuse.
The only thing on a TV in the places we eat at is SPORTS, and MORE SPORTS. WALL TO WALL SPORTS.
Bad enough he has it on at home, can’t even go out and eat in peace with out SPORTS. Loud OBNOXIOUS idiots yelling about the plays or Rep calls. And replays of what the Rep called, over and over again.
No wonder I’m a bookworm.

Every airport I’m in anywhere in the U.S.A. has CNN on the TVs non-stop. Here in Texas EVERY McDonalds has CNN every day.

If bars and taverns wanted to increase sales, they would air CNN. It would keep their customers angry, vindictive, shiftless, unmotivated - just like the Rat voter base. These people need to keep drinking.
Every bar I go to has ESPN or some ball game channel. Maybe Obama needs to find a new bar to hang out at.

Whatta’ dumba$$. The majority of bars with TV’s have sports channels playing. Must be they show Fox News at all the gay bars he goes to.
I’ve yet to see FOX news at any restaurant or bar. Others?
Everything around here ( southern MI ) has FOX on, and RUSH! on the radio if that is on.
