Why yes, it was a swarm of feral Amish.
Why do you ask?

Hah! You are making assumptions based on face color. It could be whites in blackface adding insult to injury. Sort of like voter fraud.

Aren’t gun stores supposed to put the inventory in safes for the night? There was a gun store robbery in Texas recently but the thieves came away empty-handed, since the store owner put all guns in safes before closing for the night.

The problem is that 40 firearms in the hands of leftist revolutionaries will start a small range war in the streets of Tampa.
We will wait and see.Maybe the Obama community organizer is about to bring Arab Spring to the streets of America.Alinsky would be proud of him.
I guess that’s what feral Amish do.
If I lived in Florida I would be keeping my powder dry, a pistol in my glove box, 1 shot gun, 1 long gun and 1000 rounds in my trunk until at least the end of January 2017, at the ready.
Tampa is about to become a target rich environment.

Not to diminish the seriousness of the crime, but losing 40 guns 'cleaned them out'?
I know more than several private individuals who, while they certainly would not want any of their weapons stolen, would be far from 'cleaned out' by the loss of 40 guns.

This burglary took a bit of planning and organization, but it had several fatal flaws.
1. It involved too many people. Somebody is going to talk/brag/mumble to someone about it.
2. They did not all wear masks. Poor discipline. Several decent pictures of faces on camera.
3. Poor value for the risk involved. It has national attention and a $10,000 reward. All of the firearms taken are known and traceable. Likely no more street value than $10,000 ($250 per firearm).
The case will be broken and most firearms recovered within the next two months.
