Brands advertising on Breitbart have drawn flak in recent weeks, with activists saying the website espouses racist and anti-Semitic views. A screen shot showing an advertisement for Kelloggs Frosted Mini Wheats was part of an online campaign to get marketers to abandon the site.
We regularly work with our media-buying partners to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that arent aligned with our values as a company, said Kris Charles, a spokeswoman for Kellogg, which also makes Frosted Flakes and Special K cereal. We recently reviewed the list of sites where our ads can be placed and decided to discontinue advertising on Breitbart.com. We are working to remove our ads from that site.
AppNexus, one of the biggest digital advertising services, barred Breitbart from using its ad-serving tools earlier this month because, it said, the publisher violated its hate-speech rules.

I stopped buying General Mills products several years ago when they were pushing a same-sex “marriage” bill in Minnesota. Now I have to dump Kellogg, too?

The real purpose of the MSM crying about “fake news sites” and “alt right media.” Giving companies cover to pull their advertising from conservative web sites.

Breitbart's ad system makes it so hard to read their site I can't even read it. I just read the excerpts here. Wish I could read it.
I think the increased traffic from using just still image ads instead of all that automatic crap would make up the difference but I'm just guessing.

Does KdoubleLohDoubleHypocrisy support racist “black” websites and colleges. How about “Latino this” or “Latino that” pageants, TV, et al
How about “gay” stuff? Perhaps KKKellogg’s should research the number of HIV/AIDS cases USA and worldwide ? Male to Male STDs?

Agreed, that website is nuts with the pop-ups and other annoying advertising techniques.
If a website is problematic, filled with malware, or otherwise very troublesome...I go elsewhere.
