After every Muslim terror attack, the media bring out these stories, telling us how there are fears of backlash in the Muslim community.

The media seem to run on prescribed story lines. So, now that we have endured yet another terrorist attack committed by a deranged Muslim, they bring out stories already written, about fears of the Muslims about backlash. The stories were already written; they just waited for opportune times to publish these stories.

“After every Muslim terror attack, the media bring out these stories, telling us how there are fears of backlash in the Muslim community.”

In a couple weeks, they’ll trot out the “backlash attacks are UP” articles based upon not-nice things allegedly said to or about muslims.

Yes, they do have pre-written stories ready to pop out whenever needed. They forget, however, to see if the story truly reflects the event. Which is why we are seeing liberals commenting today about gun control. Carelessness like that is inexcusable, but then I suppose they do not see any power in an anti-knife movement.

"The media seem to run on prescribed story lines."

Seem to? It is deeply engrained. Just watch as they move from meme to meme, as a collective mind, often using exactly the same phrases and buzz-words. Last week's theme was "fake news." The week before that it was "Trump election unleashes wave of hate crimes." The week before that it was "anti-Trump demonstrations 'mostly peaceful.'"

Any Muslim terrorists attack is followed by the "fear of backlash" stories, and the Muslim community is exonerated, virtually treated as a victim; any attack by a Christian or right-winger is followed by the "crime was caused by 'heated rhetoric' stories," and the entire community is implicated.

They are a lot like frozen TV dinners. Already made. Just need to be popped into the oven or microwave. Whip off the foil. Stir a little and serve. I can envision a cartoon of the MSM going to their freezer to take out the latest frozen storyline.

Well, heck. With all the anti-gun articles they already had lined up and pre-written, they had to fill that empty space with SOMETHING.
