I’d suggest sending him to the VA where his organizational skills might be able to save it. He did save the Olympics so let him do his best for our Veterans.
Romney is not the answer to re-organizing the VA.
After all, his RomneyCare when he was Governor of Mass., was the precursor to Obamacare.
If Mitt does get a cabinet post, let it be the VA and HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE for turning that sclerotic mess around.
I guarantee you that he’s going to quickly find out that managing this massive federal bureaucracy is going to be a nightmare the likes of which he has never before encountered. There are many protections for federal employees that you don’t have do deal with in the private sector. Its not just reducing staff, cutting waste and improving efficiency like he does in the private sector. Its a different ballgame in government with the primary objective being to improve medical services to veterans and create incentives (both positive and negative) for federal employees to perform better. Going to be a big challenge, that’s for sure.
