In addition to ID, must eliminate: motor-voter registration, same day registration & voting, early voting, online voting. Severely restrict provisional ballots. Absentee OK [military, temporarily out of the state (e.g., on travel or temporary assignment), illness/infirmity].

Drivers Licenses for illegals are supposed to be easily distinguished from licenses for citizens. The Feds require an obvious marking on the front and a statement that it is not valid for any Federal purpose — entering Federal property like court houses, or flying on commercial planes, etc. — so it is a Driver’s License but it is NOT valid ID.

Theoretically, polling places would reject such ID if any ID was required to vote at all. What gets confusing is that I think there have been some cities and counties that have decided all residents, even illegals, should be allowed to vote in local politics. Then they combine federal and state issues onto the same ballot, which makes no sense to me.
