I am not much of a shopper. This weekend due to circumstances I did something I rarely ever do, I shopped at several mall stores in several locations.
One thing I noticed right away was the change of the music in all the stores I was in.
Christian and secular tunes abounded together. Silent Night, O Come O Come Emmanuel, Come Oh Ye Faithful, Whose Child is This all rocked at the mall.
The clerks said Merry Christmas.
There were Christmas trees and signs saying Merry Christmas.
Macy's, Babies are Us, and Wal-Mart were among the stores I shopped.
It was actually festive...in the sense of celebrating the festival of Christmas.
Sometimes conservative pressure works.

In all the stores the music was good. Orchestral, choir, complex.

I also see a lot of nativity scenes for sale for the first time in a long time.

I saw some big ones. outdoor. And today driving home I saw three outside setup all ready.
Usually it is difficult to find one in this leftist dreamland.

I’ll pretty much avoid them like I do Target. Well, I frankly don’t have any money in this wonderful “Obama economy” anyways.

Didn’t notice transgender stuff. Took my son in to buy him some clothes, he actually asked for a better class of clothes to wear on dates with his lovely girlfriend.
Went to Macy’s to buy some Dockers for him and some collared shirts. Planned to get him a navy blazer at Goodwill, but the name brand blazer we found was less than 40 dollars on sale. I was shocked at the prices and the great service...and the Christmas carols.
There is just so much wrong with that. I am sure there are films featuring elves and reindeer. But I will say no more.
which had a very talented musician playing a piano located slightly to one side of the store. It was a rather “civilized” experience when contrasted with the rest of the mall.
