Foreign governments will be encouraged to investigate the Clinton Foundation’s finances, as many are already turning off money spigots to the scandal-scarred group, The Post has learned.

A source close to President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team told The Post that the new administration plans to pressure the US ambassadors it will name to bring up the foundation with foreign governments — and suggest they probe its financial dealings.

Although I tend to agree, there can be advantages. For one, it doesn’t mean that we won’t probe or prosecute. It just means that there will be multiple groups and countries looking into her dirty dealings. They may spill info on her that we wouldn’t be able to find.

I have to believe that in most foreign countries where someone has paid Hitlery a bribe, there is at least one other party who was hurt by the transaction. That other party might be more than happy to divulge the dirty dealings.

If nothing else, looking at the long term picture, Hillary has to be prosecuted from the precedent standpoint. One hundred years from now every pol in the US will have a pay to play foundation. "The Clintons did it" . . not to mention their "I don't recall". . "You have no evidence" . . plead the fifth, . . "I don't remember" . . "Swipe, you mean with a cloth", the various pay to play schemes, giving to China our MIRV technology for campaign cash. . and all the other Clintonisms, not to mention the myriad of other scandals that they've skated through.

There has to be some justice with the Clintons or it will surely happen again. . and worse.

Precedents mean something.

To do otherwise would be third world cravenness, after all.

Funny how people complain about the offshoring of manufacturing but love the idea of outsourcing our justice system to the rest of the world.

Most great powers can handle their own internal issues.

Smart move.

They’ll have evidence and the motive$ to spill their guts and hand over hard evidence to the Trump Administration.

No one but you suggested handing over the justice system. You sound like ya work for the leftists. Who better to get on board than those on the receiving end of the Clinton’s con games?

Same thing happens in the criminal world, people routinely rat out others for $$ and favors.

Here’s an idea. The countries the Clinton Foundation defrauded should just let it go. After all, what is the death by disease and starvation of thousands of their people, including children, against enriching the Clintons? Maybe the countries can write thank you letters to the Foundation to this effect.

‘It’s okay that you stole billions from us. What are the lives of poor poeple, against your need to get richer? Had the poeple lived, they’d have been poor. Surely dying to put more money in the Clinton coffers is a better fate.’

No one but you suggested handing over the justice system.

That's because they don't have the courage to clearly describe what they're floating.

"Trump said last week that he would not order an investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server or her role in the foundation. But Trump’s statement didn’t preclude the backroom moves to investigate the group."

You're really defending such a punk move?

The good news is that I don't believe for a minute that Trump would do this. It's just mental masturbation from "a source close to the transition".

Here's another idea. If they feel they were abused they should investigate, but we shouldn't plead with them to do something we aren't willing to do ourselves.

What kind BS is that? Who gives a damn about that?

Why does it matter to you who provides the hard evidence?

Oh, you must have the real info. The Clinton Foundation stole billions NOT from foreign countries, but from the US.

In that case, yes, forget about the foreign countries. Let the only country the Foundation stole billions from be the one to pursue the case.

Wait a minute, are you suggesting the foreign governments targeted by the foundation didn’t leave anyone holding an empty bag? It’s a safe bet there are victims of the Clinton foundation all over these foreign governments who’d be willing to sing like birds and provide evidence under the right circumstances.

Trust me, I’m on your side. What I’m saying, in a nutshell, is that if you want to nail the Clinton Foundation, go for the worst, most criminal, most brazenly illegal activities it engaged in. This would be stealing billions of aid/relief money, etc., from some of the poorest and most desperate countries on earth. These would not only be the easiest crimes to prove, but also the most egregious.

Again, believe me, you and I see this the same way.

Good. But a lot of the bribe money came for on Muslim dictatorships that will not incriminate themselves. It will require a serious investigation from the USA side

But is will send a nice message to foreign that their pay for play contributions to the Clinton and Obama “Charitable Foundations” to influence American policy and politics could have some negative repercussions.

You would rather feed them and give them cable TV on your tax dollars?! Let Russia have them, and see how they like black bread and tea for breakfast, lunch and supper, with George Soros for a cell mate, no MSM coming to Siberia to interview them and drum up sympathy.
