Renowned CNN foreign correspondent 'worried' by current climate for journalists in U.S.
CNN chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour suggests Donald Trump's words about the media worry her "very much."
One of the world's best known foreign correspondents told CBC's The Investigators that her "blood ran cold" when Donald Trump tweeted out that those who were protesting in the streets after his election win had been "incited by the media."
Amanpour says several statements made in recent months by the U.S. president-elect — in which he has variously described journalists as "despicable and dishonest," "crooked" and "liars" — can be the beginning of a dangerous political narrative.
Earlier this week, Trump held meetings with several high-profile U.S. journalists, including some of Amanpour's CNN colleagues. The gathering with TV network executives and anchors at Trump Tower in Manhattan was later reported to be a dressing-down by the president-elect for what he considered their unfair treatment of him during the election campaign.
She is cool with Castro however. Castro honors the press in Cuba by giving them gun salutes.

The media has given permission to lie and slander anyone you don’t agree with (just as they do). By extension, some feel they can take it further than that.

Unfortunately, when it comes to cheating on elections and finding more votes in the trunk of a car (Al Franken) you have to worry about the Demonrats. They are despicable, dishonest, and quite frankly evil. Watch you back.
The recount paper work has been filed at the last minute. I would like to see any one, or all three legislatures send a bill to their respective Governors directing that the electors in those states be allocated to Trump if the recount is not done by December 19.

These creeps are scared because Trump showed that beyond a shadow of a doubt, they are liars and they are obsolete. Average people on both sides of the aisle see them as liars and paid propagandists of the leftist elites, and too many average people on the left realized Hillary didn’t represent them at all.
Trump shouldn’t give these people the time of day...

I think of that every time I hear her name. She’s scum as far as I’m concerned.
Trump should not have been adversarial. He should have walked in all smiles and said, “I know that we’re going to get along great. And I know I can count on the same professionalism and integrity that you displayed through the last eight years. I know I’m not inaugurated yet, but we can start today, so please feel free to get down on your bellies and grovel, then lick my shoes, and then pick up your copy for your next stories form Kellyanne on your way out. Be sure to take a brownie at the refreshment table. We’re going to be great friends.”
That does oddly resemble the twin towers being struck by planes on 9/11... Her artistic tastes leaves much to be desired.
