The worst thing the Republican Party can do is make the same blanket assumption about minority voters that Democrats have made for years.

Black inner-city voters are probably a lost cause. There's a reason why their voting patterns are the same as Indians living on reservations. But the Trump administration can make some great strides in molding an "America First" agenda that has strong appeal to Latin Americans who immigrated here legitimately. A recent immigrant who is now an employed American is a perfect fit for a conservative/populist agenda that Trump and the GOP leadership can bring to the table.

You are making the same argument I have heard so many times from clueless Reps. They cling to the idea that blacks, Hispanics and immigrants are really conservatives just waiting to hear the right message. It isn't the reality. They are natural Dems holding the same views about Big Government. You are not going to convert them in any meaningful fashion. They still vote overwhelmingly for the Dems. They are poor, have high out of wedlock birthrates, and use welfare to a much greater degree than others.
