Assume Clinton received 47% of the vote, Mr. Trump 46%, weird guy 6% and Stein 1%. Even with 100,000 "found" votes, it would only close the gap by 1,000 votes. The only reason for them to be asking for a recount is to hope that the election commissions can't complete the recount on time, and thus throw the EC vote to either the Courts or the State Legislature, hoping for a reversal from the current. In football, it's call this a "Hail Mary" In politics, it's called desperation (and I'm loving it since for once, it's happening to the other side)
