President-elect Donald Trump is considering tapping Fox News analyst Monica Crowley as his press secretary, according to Politico.
Crowley, who is also a regular columnist for the Washington Times, was an early and vocal supporter of Trump. Politico noted that she warned Fox not to underestimate Trump when he launched his presidential bid last year.

I’d like to weigh Ms. Crowley. ;^)
I think Laura or Monica would be great. But Milo would have been very entertaining.
Monica might actually be better at it than Laura.
LOL, Wow!!! I don’t buy that for a second.
I like her more than Laura Ingraham, but whomever he chooses I’m sure will be fine.
She was ALL in for Trump. Plus she really gets it: the culture wars, the economy, the media. Excellent pick.
Monica Crowley......the opposite of Candy Crowley.
Wow, I’d love to have been a mouse in the corner when she told her bother in law this news yesterday at the Turkey Day table ;-)
She’s brilliant and a grat commmunicator. Interestingly she worked for Richard Nixon and Nixon used to write Trump letters urging him to run for office.
She’d probably also be the first Press Secretary with a PhD.
I think Laura wants to raise her kids and develop her media business.
She IS the one that interjected herself in the Romney Obama debate on behalf of Obama with false facts, isn’t she?
“...But Milo would have been very entertaining.”
Milo is a card. But having a press secretary whose next day’s hair color is likely to become the subject of the office pool could be distracting.
I was pulling for Steven Seagal or Bruce Willis.. butttt.. Monica would be a great fit.. uhh pick.
Candy Crowley.
I think Alan Coombs was in dire need of a Valium followed closely by a trip to the Primal Therapy padded scream room.
Aleister would be better than Candy.
I don’t believe we’ve ever seen Marie Antoinette give a presidential press conference . . . uh, I don’t think so!
Monica definitely says it more with a smile. While Laura has more of a snarky take. I like them both.
One thing. The original story came from Politico and they were reporting that Laura is negotiating for the Press Secretary job to be more than a spin master, and that she’d like to get into policy and become part of the inner circle.
So it could mean she’s in line for another job, or that this was dropped by the Trump team as part of negotiations to scare Laura to accept the job.
I heard yesterday from a friend that knows people on Laura’s staff that she took a pass.YMMV.
“I was pulling for Steven Seagal or Bruce Willis.. butttt.. Monica would be a great fit.. uhh pick.”
I wanted Howard Stern or Gene Simmons
