This may be the first time since Washington that we elected a President who actually HAD business interests. Or, in the case of #44, even knew what a business is.
George Washington had mucho business interests. You think those slaves were sitting around. He also had some interest in a canal....and in fact I think Congress offered him some shares....or something like that.
