Melania has successfully designed and sewed her own clothes since she was a child. She has a degree in design. She doesn’t need any stinkin’ designer, although I venture that there are many who would be thrilled to have her business.
I remember seeing a picture of Tommy Hilfiger walking into Trump Tower within the last couple of weeks - I think the reporter said that Tommy had an office(s) there.
Hilfiger: Hey, I’d dress Melania
“I think Melania is a very beautiful woman and I think any designer should be proud to dress her,” Hilfiger said. “Ivanka is equally as beautiful and smart, although she wears her own clothes. I don’t think people should become political about it. Everyone was very happy to dress Michelle [Obama] as well. I think they look great in the clothes. You’re not gonna get much more beautiful than Ivanka or Melania.”

The designer threat was preemptive. She knew her designs were inadequate so rather than be rejected, she resigned and fled the field
Melania, could wear a hefty bag and make it look good!
Once the dust clears, I hope Melania will soon do a TV special on a network that was most favorable to her.
