Former Governor Romney was one of Donald Trump’s harshest critics during the election. He assisted his opponents and was essentially working to get Hillary Clinton elected.

Donald Trump met with Mitt Romney in New Jersey last week. Sources said he was interviewing for the Secretary of State position with the Trump administration.

Trump supporters HATE the idea.

Now this… Transition Team sources told Ed Henry from FOX News that Mitt Romney is preparing a public apology. Mitt Romney is reportedly very interested in the Secretary of State job.

He wants it because it’s prestigious and makes him seem really important, especially compared to retiring to have a nice private life with his nice family and great wealth.

I hold now animosity or angst on this.

I prefer Giuliani over Romney for obvious reasons, but if Trump sees reason to put Romney in this position, then I support it.

I don’t know what his motivations are on this, but I trust him. If he appoints Romney, I’m not going to blow a gasket.

If he appointed Bush or Graham, I’d blow a gasket.

The meme was supposed to be that an erratic Donald Trump was destroying the Republican Party. Instead he is leading it, not into the political wilderness, but to victory. He is consolidating support to pass his agenda. He is in a stronger position now than President Reagan. His Vice President is rock solid. He has a 52-48 Senate, and with Gov. Romney on his team there is no room for any GOP opposition to President Trump as the leader of an expanding, rejuvenated and victorious Republican Party.

Worry if you must, but pray without ceasing that God will continue to show us mercy and enable President Trump and Vice President Pence with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to lead so that we may live in peace and prosperity, blessing all our citizens and well as our neighbors throughout the world.
