the second half of Trump’s first term:
1. we will return to the moon
2. we will plan for a manned mission to mars.
3. equipment shipments to both locations will be planned
4. we will begin implementation of a permanent science station on the moon.
5. astroid mining and financial ROI plans will be engaged.
Second term?
1. manned missions to mars.
2. Science station in martian orbit
3. robotic missions to Jupiter’s moons run from cape of the US/Russian mars science and space center
4. manned mars stations under construction.
5. privatization of property rights on any potential habitable or resource rich planets and moons within our solar system.
6. a breakthrough in very high speed travel technology and gravity based “instant” real time and quantum particle excitement properties communication.
7. attempted launch of deep deep space penetration to nearest solar system in the centauri quadrants... may fail but we will learn the secrets and technologies of deep space travel.
after that?
either the dems come back into power to send us back into the stone ages, or Jesus comes back and gives us a way to transverse space/time, using REALLY DIFFERENT tech than we have ever considered before...
.
I hope not.
That crap is a dead end waste of money, lives, and resources.
Earth is the only habitable planet in the universe.
We have many better things to do with our resources.
Buck Rogers is dead, and Captain Kirk has fulfilling hobbies.
.
I was wondering if anyone had ever considered using gravity somehow to send instantaneous signals traveling faster than that turtle-paced speed of light.

4. manned mars stations under construction.

Nice try...but I believe top priority in the Trump second term will be a massive "Manhattan Project" to prepare for the coming ice age.
Recklessly optimistic.
Back to the moon will take 6 years of dedication and effort. Our expertise has diminished as top STEM education has been liberally allocated to foreign nationals, as our pool of resources has been redirected to remedial political correctness.
I don’t want a victory lap around the moon. I would like to see a start in preparation for a industrial enterprise on the moon instead.
And forget about Mars until there is a 24/7/365 operations on the moon.
Don’t forget flying cars.
There is no man-rated crew capsule yet and will not be for a while, neither do we have a man-rated rocket system ready. Return to the moon is five or more years away no matter what anyone does.
Astroid mining is a financially losing proposition until we have permanent colonies on both the moon and Mars.
No one has yet solved the problem of humans in space for years or even what is needed to protect humans in interplanetary space.
All of that is realistically decades away thanks to the Zero’s cut backs, dithering, and muscleman outreach.
However, the missing ingredient is political will of which beyond a few there is no real public support - certainly not from Democrats who need to feed the homeless and poor while importing even more of same.
As a child of the 1950's I applaud your exploration schedule. However, it seems somewhat ambitious to say the least.
Returning to the moon in the next four years would require a Herculean effort. It is not impossible but I don't know if NASA is up to the task any more. It has engaged in too much "climate research" and muslim outreach and has lost its purpose.
Two GRAND-SLAM HOME RUNS in one at bat!!
1. Kill the Global Warming hoax
2. Space exploration.
Of course, when Trump takes office he may find we already have bases on the dark side of the Moon as well as Mars.
