I was wondering if anyone had ever considered using gravity somehow to send instantaneous signals traveling faster than that turtle-paced speed of light.
Sorry to be a party pooper...but this has already been discussed here on a FR thread
and I already showed how to do it

M Drive, the microwave radiation thruster capable of propelling a spacecraft without any fuel, has been heating up the debates over the past couple of years. The concept of EM Drive has been facing harsh criticism as it appears to violate the Newtons Third Law of Motion, which says that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
In a recent development, a full and official peer-reviewed paper on EM Drive has been published online. This paper has appeared via the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)s Journal of Propulsion and Power.
Ursula k legion “The Left Hand of Darkness” and the Ansible.... a concept of cutting edge physics at the time... Not as cutting edge now as it was then... Probably doable.
here is the crux: for entangled particles, the act of measuring one particle doesnt just change the state that particle is in, but also changes the state of the other particle. If the first particles spin was measured, and found to be up, the second particles spin would then change from being indefinite to being down. What is especially striking is that, according to quantum mechanics, the particles have this influence on each other however far apart they are, even if they are on opposite sides of the universe. Since the 1980s, experiments have been performed demonstrating this phenomenon, with more recent experiments showing that the influence is taking place at least at 10,000 times the speed of
Sounds like the Ansible setup from Orson Scott Card's Endor series.
Given that over 90% of the universe is dark matter and dark energy, we are only beginning to understand the universe and its properties.
Given that over 90% of the universe is dark matter and dark energy, we are only beginning to understand the universe and its properties. Also, given the amazing creatures we have discovered in very cold and very hot areas of the earth, it is entirely possible that we will find similar organisms on mars and on our ice moons.
