As if having to take the train doesn’t suck enough, there is always the threat of these psychos pushing people onto the tracks.

Happens every year.

When you grow up in NYC the first thing parents tell their kids on their first subway ride is don’t stand near the edge of the platform because somebody will push you in front of the train.

NYC, a GREAT place to live!

It’s not just a NYC thing. In my early days, I used to ride the subway in Boston and you also had people being pushed onto the tracks. It’s a rare thing but it’s common sense not to stand close to the edge of the platform when a train is barreling in no matter where you are.

There are sick people out there.

I lived in Philly for 10 years. I learned soon enough not to stand near the end of the platform. Too many drunks and crazy people to take a chance on getting pushed over.
