New York (CNN)I never in a million years thought I would be up here on stage appealing for the freedom and safety of American journalists at home. Ladies and gentlemen, I added the bits from candidate Trump as a reminder of the peril we face. I actually hoped that once President-elect, all that that would change, and I still do. But I was chilled when the first tweet after the election was about "professional protesters incited by the media."

Exactly. They do not know we were already on to them for quite some time. The think we are as stupid as they portray us to be. The media truly believes we are blindly following Trump, no idea we had all the issues figured out for ourselves and he is just the one who was tuned into that.
Maybe your kind of propagandizing faces an existensial threat. I hope so.
That is a trait that many independent businessmen share. Most learn very early to not trust newsmen of any sort. I worked once for a company that was 150 years old, family owned. The CEO’s son became the Sales manager, young and green he talked with a trade journal reporter about his family’s company. MISTAKE. They really twisted the article, he learned to never talk off the cuff to such vermin. They never give an interview now, only release public statements that they write. End of story. A survivors tale.
