Megyn Kelly got a little personal about her politics in an interview with Fox colleague Alan Colmes tonight, given how many have publicly speculated about what she believes in.
Kelly said, I am not an ideologue. I always laugh because when I was coming up the ranks at Fox News, the left thought I was always in the tank for the Republicans because they always see you through a certain prism.
And because of, well, everything that happened in the past year, there are a lot of people assuming Kelly is in the tank for, you know, the Never Trumpers or for the liberals.
But Kelly made it clear that shes not in the tank for anyone:
I have no political ideology. Im a soulless lawyer at heart. I can see both sides of any argument. Im willing to be persuaded, but we have to stay open-minded.

???????????????
While I believe she’s right of center on most issues, her blind ambition is her downfall. She will stab you in the back in a heartbeat if she thinks it’s in her interest. What she did to TRUMP in the first debate shows her true colors, and they aren’t pretty.
You are right. You are worthless.
*cough*cough*bullshit*cough*
9pm on election night she looked like she was going to cry.
And she has no morals either
Yeh that’s the ticket. :-)
Ms. Kelly supposedly has the world by the tail, but it’s a Potemkin image. Her contract with Fox is up and her representatives assumed there would be a bidding war between the broadcast and cable nets for her services. Wrong. So far, the only real offer on the table is from FNC and while it’s very generous, it’s not the feeding frenzy she was counting on. And, when all is said/done Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly will still make much more than she does.
Couple of reasons other networks are taking a pass. First, her prime time special on the Fox broadcast network was a ratings disaster, suggesting she has little mainstream appeal. Secondly, it’s not lost on news execs that Kelly knifed Roger Ailes in the back—the same man who put her on the path to stardom when she had very little experience in front of a camera. Not that executives at CBS, NBC, etc are fans of Ailes, but they know she could do the same thing to them if they hire her, and Kelly’s new venture flops.
It’s also looking like “Settle for More” is a flop. The reviews have been scathing, and despite the hype, the book will probably make an early exit from the best-seller lists. BTW, Kelly is going on a book tour after the holidays, with stops at places like Fort Hood and The Villages retirement community in Florida. I’m predicting that she gets a frosty reception at most stops on her tour. Hope she saves most of that big advance; Ms. Kelly won’t be getting that kind of check for her next book, given the fact her first tome is failing—and it must really bother her that O’Reilly has two books on the best-seller list and Ainsley Earhardt’s book is currently five places above hers on Amazon.
And did I mention that Hannity’s ratings were much higher than hers during the election cycle? Sean was relegated to the 10 pm hour to make room for Kelly and he delivered a consistently larger audience, building on her lead-in.
Truth be told, about all Ms. Kelly has going for her is a fat bank account, and the favor of the Murdochs. “The Year of Megyn” is the most falsely-hyped story this side of Hillary’s electoral chances. She’d be wise to sign the Fox offer on the table; there won’t be any others approaching that level of compensation and since TV is such a fickle business, there’s a good chance this will be the biggest deal of her career
At the moment she tried to take out Trump at the first pimary debate, ahe suddenly became the ugliest woman in the world.
Beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes all the way to the bone.
Sounds like she's auditioning for a spot at CNN.
Alan Colmes, perhaps the 2nd most irrelevant person at FOX behind Megyn - LOL
I Have No Political Ideology
How do you do that?
Every man instantly recognizes Megyn as “one night stand” material. That’s why she glommed on to Trump’s parade of faux female accusers so tightly - and still won’t let it go. She’s sympathetic because that’s a tactic she was hoping to use herself on her Fox News bosses for a big payoff one day.
She’s the mother of 3 young children. Of course she has an ideology. She must care about the future of her children. Even if her ideology is skewed, she must want what she considers best for her children. To say she has no feelings one way or the other is a crock.
Seriously. Good God make it stop!!
i are SERIUCE jurnolis!
This Hillary supporter is not fooling anyone. Her 15 minutes are up.
