In her latest blog, Anne Graham Lotz shares that Trump’s unlikely victory is owed to the blessing of God.

Our preacher told the story of a Missionary couple that had spent their lives spreading the Gospel around the world. They were traveling back to the states on a ship and some famous person was also on the ship. (I’m guessing this was before airplanes).
The famous person was met with a band and much fanfare. The husband looked at his wife and said something like “All the work we have done and never had a welcome home party like this.”
His wife replied “Well, dear - that’s because we aren’t home yet!”
Wonderful post. When I couldn’t see how Trump would beat the huge machine coming at him, that small voice I heard said “Be still and know I am God.” It calmed me down but the praying didn’t cease.
You know, I have heard much about this before or ignored it as a bit whako.
This prophecy says: ““the gatekeeper that watched over New York” at 9/11 who will watch over the Nation.”
I thought, that would indicate that Giuliani will be director of Homeland Security.

I wonder if the missionaries had it in mind that after they got home, and went to the Wedding, that they were going to be sent back out out to reign for another thousand years.
At 80, I'm beginning to think that a thousand is not so long--it's beginning to sound like only a start on the everlasting promise!
It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our beloved Kim has died and passed into Glory, and is now in the presence of his Lord, his best friend, Jesus. Kim was recently hospitalized with pneumonia and complications due to his diseased lungs, and his body was just too weak to combat the illness. The support and love that you have shown to Jane and the family throughout this 16-month journey has been crucial to them having the strength to withstand the fight. Our hearts are broken, but we cannot mention his passing without honoring and celebrating the amazing life that Kim lived. His life and ministry were a testament to the love of Christ, imparting hope to everyone who heard his voice, and continuously stretching out his hand of generosity to those hurting and in need. Kim fought a good fight, finished the race, kept the faith, and is now embracing his exceedingly great reward in Heaven.

While your link subtly tries to displace the basis of argument from the ground of interpretation of 2 Chronicles 7:14 to a discussion of Scofield's early troubled (and prejudicially reported) life, it does not at all refute the valid Scriptural discussion on the promises of God as found in "Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth," does it?
Let's not shift the focus away from AGL's (lack of) Biblical hermeneutic that slyly misapplies the text in question. What that deceptive use of Scripture out of context does is to place the blame on God for the disarray or ordering of our civil government, rather than accepting the responsibility of straying church member and membership, placing it squarely on the (lack of) moral leadership in the pulpit and in the Bible schools and seminaries of leading denominations.
God is just watching what we do with the liberties He has allowed us to embrace or reject. As we give them up, so does His influence on government through His (erring)(disobedient) children.
If we haven't learned anything through the documented history of Israel and its final dispersion, we haven't learned anything regarding our responsibility to resist the Wicked One's influence in our schools and universities.
Praying to God to reverse the outcomes of our deliberate irresponsibilities is a no-go solution. And proposing that by prayer He inluenced a shift of the electionis really discrediting the fact that it is the voters who individually stepped up to the plate and elected Trump, not determined by God tinkering with the results.
Lotz is wrong in this teaching, and we don't know how it's going to play out, do we?
Then by the same token He will be responsible, and not we voters, if anything goes wrong with this "miracle," won't He? Hmmm?

Begging YOUR pardon, but yes the church can and does sin on earth and does reap the chastisement connected with it. The prescribed behavior will reverse this trend.
Therefore it MUST carry over, and attempts to Americanize this are way misguided.

God gave the people what they wanted, just like He did with the people of Israel and Saul. How did that work out? God was teaching them and us a lesson.

Thanks. I just saw that too. I always assumed that Kim would be healed and return to the show but it was not to be. He suffered a lot since last year Labor Day’s first brain bleed of 4, meningitis, and cancer spread to the lungs. He just turned 60 years last month, and he was in good health up to last year. It’s a huge shock. I am so sad.
To me, his wife Jane is an absolute hero and incredible woman. She ended up to be Kim’s nurse and, before that, helped nurse their 5 adopted Chinese orphans. All 5 were abandoned due to major health issues. 3 had life-threatening heart issues, 1 was special needs, and 1 had a life-threatening massive facial tumor. Kim and Jane provided the heart surgeries and facial surgeries, plus a wonderful home for the 5 adopted kids and 5 of their own kids.
Kim Clement loved Israel too. He supported special needs kids at Shalva, the Save A Child’s Heart medical ministry, built street bomb shelters, and provided ambulances. They are going to mourn a lot there. :(
Bro, we need to corral the word "will" and make it serve in English what God's purpose is of using it in the Greek language. Often our English translation is just a bit too ambiguous to give us His slant on things, though God's/Jesus' attribute is to be sovereign in all things. So:
I believe He sovereignly gives each of us a charge to accomplish, and that is to make disciples who, like ourselves, are bent on imitating Jesus The Christ, and learning how to reign with Him.
I believe that He sovereignly allowed Germany to fall under the influence of Adolf Hitler as a judgment for their theologians failing to produce godly training for godly converts, but instead putting themselves in judgment over Himself and His Word.
I believe that God sovereignly allows us to elect or appoint our own leaders without interference other than to make provision for making disciples and training them to rule in a godly fashion, and if not, to suffer the consequences that we have earned.
I believe He sovereignly allows bad leaders to come to power under His permissive will (βούλημα, Strong's G1013), despite that His preference would be otherwise.
I believe that He sovereignly will permit humans to transgress individually and/or in the aggregate up and until they overstep into disregarding His determined will (θέλημα, Strong's G2307) and then He will take action. And that action may be so enormous and powerful as to make the very mountains shake.
I believe that Trump will be permitted to become our President through God's permissive will through His gracious patience with us and with our desire (and certainly not with 49.99% of the voters to have a woman criminal as the preference); not according to His preference, which I think would have been for us to have chosen a man of thorough commitment to Christ Jesus as Master with godly behavior and language consistent with that commitment.
And that is my belief, my FRiend and Brother in The Lord.
