One of the many, many consequences of Donald Trumps victory Tuesday night is that the nation will have to wait at least four more years to see a woman elected president.
Hillary Clintons loss came as a devastating blow to many people across the country eager to see a woman take office. But among Tuesdays winners is Californias new Democratic senator-elect, Kamala Harris, who may be the next best hope for shattering that glass ceiling.

I’d bet she’ll be in prison before she gets to the Presidency. After all, she is a useless LIB and is a fool.
Harris will push the same-old leftist crap and she'll lose just as if she was a straight white man with military service.
That’s a man, baby.
As soon as the CA government implodes due to deficit spending the voters won’t touch a CA politician with a 100 foot pole.
She can be queen of that land of fruits and nuts.
Oh, I never overlook a potential threat.
The dirt digging on this STALINIST b!tch should start now, and continue until she is BURIED.
Sanchez way back in 2001 was in the Huntington beach 4 th of July parade she ran up and gave me a big sloppy hug i kinda liked it
Well, somebody better be checking out her time in CA.
I’m hoping people will be a little concerned regarding some of her rulings.
yes, she is crazy and dangerous.
Sadly your right. If Kardashian is ever president, O God...
She’s a real piece of work...but I voted for her to get her out of the Attorney General’s office here in the Peoples’ Republic of KA. Her only opponent was another flameroo demo.
I think she has a lock on V.P. in 2020 at least. I’d still put more money on Corey Booker for the 2020 presidential nominee.
It used to be called "The Peter Principle" in the book "Up The Organization!"
P.S. Why do we still have the red-letter notation just above the "Post" button that says "Loose lips sink ships"??? ( that's been on there since about 2003 and Gulf War II)
Interesting.
In the shallowest sense, she is a very attractive candidate for president for the democrats.
She is a minority female, she is confident and well-spoken, and she is, by most measures of traditional physical beauty, a very attractive woman. She is also 20 years younger and lacking the 40 years of nonstop scandal of Hillary. (She also ardently believes in every hard-left position that would disgust most of American voters, but that is seen as a secret bonus by the Dems)
Just like Hillary, she will be hand carried into the important career-burnishing committee seats, allowed to cosponsor a few token important compromise bills and she will make a few thoroughly publicized and zealously praised speeches where she says nothing of consequence very eloquently in front of a large crowd.
She will sail to the nomination, and unless every Republican candidate for the next twenty years is prepared to do what is necessary to make a stronger case to the American public, showcase her hard left beliefs, and simultaneously avoid all the traps of her demographics (and every trap will be set), she very well could be president. She will have to be beaten in an election by her competitor, she will not be allowed to simply lose.
A Marco Rubio will lose to her because he is just a polished demographic tool like her, a John Kasich will lose to her because he will be nice.
DAMN DUDE; you are so EASY.
I lived down there for 35 years until I retired up here to Nor Cal; peace, quiet, gangbangers die really young, and people grow their own dope if that’s their thing (whiskey guy myself).
You would have got more for your money from a 2 dollar TJ hooker, and she wouldn’t have kept raising the price every election.
Sanchez is dumber but also more American.
Sanchez would be a RINO in a different environment - ie if that would give her the best chance to win.
