In my view, they do it as nothing less than a form of brainwashing and psychological manipulation. When these students feel traumatized that their political ideology has been rejected by the elections outcome, and they are being coddled with all kinds of drastically therapeutic treatments, they are no longer capable of tolerating viewpoints other than their own.
Theyre being trained to believe that the world must come to an end whenever they dont get their way, therefore the ideas of tolerance and diversity that those on the left pretend to believe in are completely thrown out the window.
This treatment of students by their universities is a method of ensuring that when they become the next teachers, lawyers, judges, journalists, and politicians, they will live and breathe the ideology that their left-wing professors forced upon them, and be unable to see any other perspective.
A lot people, and a very large percentage of young people, have been actively brainwashed for many years by:
-The Mainstream Media
-Hollywood
-Their teachers (at first in the colleges, now at all levels)
We can't just ignore it and hope it will go away.

“Conformatorium” ... the new, honest name for many American universities.
Away from the university, our families and friends often talk about issues differently than what we experience in our on-campus discussions.

And that monster is a strawberry blond real estate mogul from New York.
The only thing to do is proceed and do the best we can to correct the mess we have obtained by the election process.
The snowflakes should join the military for a two year stint, overseas in rough countries doing valuable work. The peace corp was a good idea.
The colleges / universities have had a LOT to do with the rioters / protestors. It is where most of them come from and many are former classmates who know each other personally. Whomever pulled the levers to use them has a common bond in the education system and I suspect teachers unions factor into it somewhere.

Kid have been patronized from an early age for many years. Like their parroted opinions are profound & worthy of attention. Imagine growing up like that? The election results for the Millenials must come as a cold bucket of water in the face after all that.
All of this at the taxpayer’s expense.
