President-elect leans toward the former governor but advisers tug of war delays decision
President-elect Donald Trump is leaning toward asking former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to be his secretary of state, according to people familiar with the deliberations.
The next U.S. president is also likely to name retired Marine Gen. James Mattis as His Secretary of Defense and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is his leading candidate for Ambassador to the United Nations.

I don’t trust Mitt at all, but your collection of his policy positions do seem to fit Trumps ideas(and many of mine). This only further saddens me that Mitt has been a disappointment.

Mr. Trump, in a statement emailed Monday evening by his spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, said: Kellyanne came to me and asked whether or not she could go public with her thoughts on the matter. I encouraged her to do so. Most importantly she fully acknowledged there is only one person that makes the decision. She has always been a tremendous asset and that will continue.
