President-elect leans toward the former governor but advisers tug of war delays decision
President-elect Donald Trump is leaning toward asking former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to be his secretary of state, according to people familiar with the deliberations.
The next U.S. president is also likely to name retired Marine Gen. James Mattis as His Secretary of Defense and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is his leading candidate for Ambassador to the United Nations.

Yea, if he’s leaning that way then name the sources.
In first to watch the freeper meltdown....got my popcorn ...lets get the this show started.
BS
The WSJ has no one close to the deliberations. They are making it up and pushing their choice.
Haley and Romney the anti-Trumpers.
Mattis would need a waiver from Congress to be eligible for SecDef.
Paint me skeptical on all three suggestions.
WSJ is in the tank for Hillary and Democrats.
The love Mittens.
I will wait to actually see if that move comes to pass.
#fakenews
Mitt Romney would lead a Corporatist “Wall Street Journal” list anytime.
I think putting mittens in the administration in any role would be a mistake and that POS would stink it up. Screw mittens.
SLICK WILLARD can’t be trusted.
Hes also douchebag.
This is more BS.
Haley at the UN? Yuck!
It’s possible that a deal has been struck with Romney, whereby he hands Trump the info to bring down and jail Ryan and the Bushes

Not a very Freeperly thing to say, Dog.
If this story is factual. . .then let me say Mr. Trump is not going to drain the swamp as promised. . . he is creating one of his own.
Why would he pick a globalist for Secretary of State? Doesn’t make any sense.
Bad call. First sign of trouble or disagreement he will pull the rip cord and cause chaos. Not to mention he will likely set himself up for 2020.
If true then this is being pushed by Pence.
This would be a big mistake by Trump.
